Brian Taylor Goldstein, Esq. will be discussing "Basic Legal Issues in Arts & Entertainment". In this panel, Goldstein will lead us through the most common business and legal issues that confound, perplex, and confuse artists and entertainment professionals, including licensing and using creative material; copyrights and fair use; visa and tax issues for non-US artists; independent contractors v. employees; and contractual issues such as liability, force majeure, cancellations, and indemnification.

Ryan Devlin is an actor-host-producer-entrepreneur-and-fan-of-hyphens. He currently hosts the hit MTV series Are You The One?, entering its 4th season. As an actor, Ryan has held major roles on Jane the Virgin, Brothers & Sisters, Cougar Town, Veronica Mars and Grey’s Anatomy. Ryan also serves as Co-Creator and Executive Producer of the GSN series, The Idiot Test.
After touring a refugee camp in Liberia, Ryan was inspired to help the millions of children around the world suffering from malnutrition. So he co-founded the all-natural granola bar company, This Bar Saves Lives. For each bar sold, one packet of life-saving food is given to a child in need.

Count has 25 years of experience arranging insurance for a variety of events including the Essence Festival, the Country Music Awards, HBO prize fights, numerous presidential inaugurations and Super Bowls and, most recently, all the insurance coverage required for the visit of Pope Francis to the U.S.
